Our Microdermabrasion skin care equipment uses a hand piece to gently vacuum crystals onto the surface of the skin and resurface the superficial layers of the skin. As the crystals contact the skin, they remove old, dead, and flaking skin cells and exfoliate and polish the skin beneath.

1. How will my face feel immediately after my microdermabrasion treatment?

Your skin may feel tight and tingly as if it was exposed to the sun or wind for the first 2 days after your treatment. Some mild skin peeling may also occur after the first treatment. Deeper treatment for medical treatments (e.g. scars and acne) may appear slightly red, swollen or grazed for a few hours. For those patients who have sensitive skin, this skin appearance may remain for a few days.

2. What skin conditions are successfully treated with microdermabrasion?
